Author of Vincent the Ripper: Dale Larner

Dale Larner graduated with a B.A. in Business from UNC Charlotte and stumbled into the field of working with computers. But he couldn’t let go of his dreams of becoming a writer and artist. Eventually, becoming a writer took over his life, and Larner set out to learn all he could about the craft of creative writing—fully expecting to become a novelist quietly creating adventurous stories filled with fascinating characters. However, along the way, Larner made a discovery about his favorite artist, Vincent van Gogh, and he was compelled to write a non-fiction book about Van Gogh’s hidden, murderous side. He didn’t expect it to consume his life for so many years, but in the end, he completed Vincent The Ripper: Vincent Van Gogh Was Jack The Ripper, Case Closed.

Larner has also written a few short stories and painted a few paintings, which can be viewed at https://dalelarner.com. He continues to write and paint in his sunny Florida hideaway with his two faithful beagles, Max & Buster, lounging under his feet.
